Team Leasepath Joins Equipment Finance Cares to Celebrate Book Release

Intelligent Workplace solution provider sponsors and supports the release of Lovern Gordon’s new title.

Team Leasepath traveled to the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul to break bread with colleagues and clients during a pair of industry events held in June. The team was honored to sponsor and support the inaugural event of Equipment Finance Cares, a non profit founded by Jesse Johnson of JDR Solutions to support and bring awareness to causes close to the heart of the equipment finance industry.

At the event, Leasepath CEO Jeff Bilbrey joined a panel of service providers to discuss his unique perspective of the last year and how technology that serves the equipment finance industry is evolving. He shared Leasepath’s dedication to the Intelligent Workplace, and how the ethos drives our thinking, development, and product roadmap. Jeff discussed how Leasepath wants to help raise the bar of technology standards for the entire equipment finance industry. He also discussed how our corporate culture has been reshaped by COVID, and how we’ve responded with focus on mental health and investments in tools that help team members remain connected and able to be productive in their work environment.

Held at Brick x Mortar in downtown Minneapolis, the event supported the book release of equipment finance veteran Lovern J. Gordon. Lovern published the autobiographical memoir the Legacy He Left Me, detailing Lovern’s own experiences with overcoming domestic violence. Lovern served as the keynote for the evening as she shared her story and what her non-profit, the Love Life Now Foundation, is doing to support and provide critical resources to survivors of domestic violence. After her presentation, Lovern shared signed copies of her new book with attendees, stopping to take pictures. Leasepath is proud to support Lovern and the fight against domestic violence, and the evening was a wonderful way to shake off the cobwebs from the last year and visit with leaders from across the equipment finance industry.
