Leasepath CEO joins group of esteemed equipment finance leaders for panel discussion on building a culture that fosters, enables, and accelerates innovation.
Leasepath CEO Jeffrey Bilbrey will join Tirza Hollenhurst (CEO of LUMAN), Joe Leonard (President & CEO of Oakmont Capital Services), Jennifer Martin (VP, Leasing & Vendor Program Support, Key Equipment Finance), and Deborah Reuben (CEO & Founder of TomorrowZone) in a vital discussion on Thursday, July 28th at 1 pm EST entitled the Human Side of Innovation: Skill Building for a Future-Ready Team.
Is it possible to systematize innovation? What does it take to build a continuous innovation capability? There is a lot of talk about the importance of building an innovative culture and we hear about open floor plans, co-location, virtual collaboration and on and on. But culture is beyond what happens at the water cooler or in the breakroom. In a world that is changing rapidly, it is vital for resilient and future-ready teams to intentionally build both culture and capability that enables innovation.
The human side of innovation cannot be ignored. But what does it take to build up your team to be future-ready? How do you foster an innovation culture? What does that even mean? More importantly, what does it look like in practice and what are the practical actions we can take day-to-day?

Meet Jeffrey Bilbrey, a man who has been creating, delivering and advancing enterprise technology products and related services since the early 90’s. Today, he serves as CEO of global business for Leasepath where he is accountable for ensuring customer delight and driving the flagship platform for cloud-based finance originations to the leading edge in the market. Leasepath has been on an impressive growth streak by expanding product offerings, increasing market awareness and delivering innovative market-leading capabilities on a flexible cloud platform.
Bilbrey has always been involved in IT and consulting. He loves software products; not because he’s a techie person, but because he enjoys seeing how tech and automation can solve real business problems. He started his career out of university by traveling to Europe for five years as a consultant in the telecom industry (AMS – American Management Systems). After that, Bilbrey moved to a startup in Boulder, CO working on the very first online banking and bill-pay technologies (Avolent). He then spent many years in P&C Insurance tech as global product manager and delivery lead (Sentry Insurance, Majesco); then followed a passion as a leader in Healthcare IT (Cancer Treatment Centers of America); was a board member and president of a publicly traded multinational in the commercial finance software industry.
Bilbrey lives in Thousand Oaks, CA with his wife and three children. He is an avid outdoorsman, with a love for hiking, hunting, fishing, boating, cycling, running, triathlons and exploring all the peace and wonders of the great outdoors.
Innovative leaders in our industry and beyond are taking action to build future-ready teams. All too often, innovation is equated with technology, but there’s much more to it. Innovation is all about solving problems to improve the human experience. While tech is often involved as an enabler, it always takes humans to bring awesome solutions to life.
Meet Tirza Hollenhorst, a futurist and master trainer. As the CEO of LUMAN, she has led the delivery of innovation, leadership and culture change programs at large companies like AMD, Siemens and Airbus, as well as, for scaling companies like Blue Planet Energy and Infinite Edge. Hollenhorst is a regular keynote speaker, known for her capacity to quickly conjure connectedness and creativity amongst large groups.

Martin has been in the leasing industry and at Key Equipment Finance for 25 years, having held roles in operations management, project management, technology product ownership, vendor program development and quality assurance.
