To wrap up Leasepath’s 2024 Annual Theme of #RiseAsALeader, Senior QA Analyst, Maria Ivaniuc highlights her journey of rising as a leader, embracing challenges, and making meaningful contributions both professionally and personally. We’re proud of Maria’s accomplishments and grateful to have her on our team.
As we approach the end of 2024, I’ve had the opportunity to reflect on the growth I’ve experienced this year—both professionally at Leasepath and personally. I am truly grateful for the opportunities I’ve had to develop new skills, collaborate with amazing teams, and make meaningful contributions both in the workplace and in my community. I’d like to share a few of the highlights from my journey.
Professionally, I’ve been fortunate to grow into my role as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst. Throughout the year, I’ve gained invaluable experience working with various products and teams across the company, which has significantly expanded my knowledge and expertise. I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with different departments, offering support and insights that have helped us improve product quality and deliver exceptional results. Every project and challenge has allowed me to grow stronger as a leader within our company, and I am proud of the work we’ve accomplished together.
On a personal level, 2024 has been equally transformative. I have always believed in the power of giving back to the community, and this year, I’ve been able to dedicate time to volunteer at my kids’ school, art gallery field trips, and snow school at Mount Seymour, helping children experience the world in new ways. These experiences have not only allowed me to contribute but also reinforced the importance of leadership in everyday life. Additionally, I joined the Recreational Committee in my community, where I helped organize events such as the summer barbeque, the Christmas party, and the “Breakfast with Santa” event. Being part of these initiatives gave me the chance to work with others to create memorable experiences for our neighbors, fostering a strong sense of community and collaboration.
One of the biggest personal milestones for me this year was completing the immigration process for my mother. It was a long, challenging journey that took several years, but successfully navigating it has been one of my greatest achievements. This process taught me perseverance, patience, and the importance of leading through difficult and complex situations.
The theme of “We Rise as Leaders” resonates deeply with me because leadership is not only about titles or positions—it’s about how we contribute, how we uplift those around us, and how we continue to grow, no matter the circumstances. In 2024, I’ve focused on rising as a leader in every area of my life, and I’m excited to continue this journey, both professionally and personally.
I am proud to be part of a culture at Leasepath that encourages growth, collaboration, and leadership. I look forward to contributing even more in 2025.
